Mystery Blogger Award

Marhaba! (I am committed to start with a hello in a different language. Will it last? Hmmm, maybe) So, as I displayed up there, I GOT TAGGED IN AN AWARD!!! CAN YOU TELL I'M EXCITED??! Nah, I don't think so. Hehe, I'm so smawt. As I was saying before I got gently interrupted by one of my alter egos, I would love to thank Brooke from The Reader's Game for tagging me! It's not like I talk too much about myself. *laughs in 'crap, I do'*

Her beautiful Blog: The Reader's Game – Welcome to my book blog! Let's talk about reading! (wordpress.com)

Personal thank you to Okoto Enigma for creating this tag, I could NEVER. Like, never. I have a limited supply of brain cells. And I'm currently using those three.

Okay, so *claps hands in an overly dramatic manner* 3 things about myself:

Hmmm

Wait, crap, do I not know anything-

Oh!

Yeah.

  1. I love oldies music and am obsessed to plug in my earphones, lay back, close my eyes and escape to a world of melodies. If that makes sense.

  2. When I was about 11, I thought that I was going to be the greatest skater of my generation. Unfortunately (fortunate for the world), that notion ended when I slid down a hill. A wonderful experience, but it did give me an adrenaline rush and I started snorkeling afterwards. I love it when I say two things that are SO related. *snort*

  3. At one point in my life, I had 16 dogs and three turtles. At ONE point, loooong ago. I think that fueled my love for animals, no yeah, it definitely did.

Dang, I really am not that interesting though-

Now, *dramatic music* answering 5 questions from the amazing blogger that tagged me!

A few things that you think are the best about blogging (Such as meeting new people):

  • I think one of the absolute best things in being a blogger, is that you get to connect with so many beautiful and genuine people who love reading as much if not more than you. Being able to entertain and express my opinions and actually have readers RELATE? It fills me with so much happiness, and is easily one of the most glorious feelings I have ever experienced. So thank you to all the people who take the time to read my posts! I truly appreciate it.

Name 5 things you couldn’t live without and a little bit why

  • I wouldn't be able to live without books. That's like, it would literally be hell. And mega stressful since it's one of those things that I can say are mine, and that I can enjoy whenever.

  • I would die without music. It just fuels those few sparks that give me the opportunity to portray my thoughts into a somewhat coherent manner. *whispering* Fun Fact, I'm listening to Dream A Little Dream of Me right as we speak.

  • I could never survive without tea and donuts and pretzels, they're a blessing to just cozy up in a corner and get the warmest blanket and *sigh*, the peace, guys. Also, you can always spill the tea on the crappy books. Imaginary of course.

  • Speaking of imaginary, I do have imaginary fantasies. And by fantasies, I mean something akin to daydreaming. That is one of the best things ever and if I were to have it taken away from me. Well, can somebody bring me my machete?

  • And last, but definitely not least, I could never live without sarcasm. And sarcastic people. Call it a defense mechanism or my armor, but it's one of those special traits that stay close to my heart. Whenever I can find it, I mean. *smirking* (I do mean the nice version of sarcasm, of course)

Name 3 books you will never forget

Oh dear goodness gracious, how am I supposed to do thissss. Okay, deep breaths, DEEP BREATHS.

  • I shall never ever forget Silverlegs, by Camilla Monk. It's literally a book that took me by the weave and did not let me go. And yes, I'm aware that I obsess over it a lot (it's not an obsession unless everyone around you gets annoyed at how much you repeat your convictions). But come on, it was REALLY good.

  • I will never forget Still Alice by Lisa Genova. First because it absolutely made me bawl my eyes out, and second, hellooooo Genova? Really close to a fictional kingdom???

  • Ooo! And how could I forget, one of the first series I ever read, The Shopaholic series. Wow, overly cliché, and at times all over the place, didn't have any plot but dang, was it good! At the tender age of 6878, it entertained the crap out of me (that visual, *horrified shudder*) and made me feel so accepted. Although I get out of the house approximately once every month. So...

What is something that you have done, can do, or a place you have been where not many people can do/do?

  • I was going to say, breath, but I don't think that would go over well. Heheheh. Well, when I was younger (ugh, why can't I go back) I went to the Roman Coliseum and I really didn't appreciate how much history and mythology was ingrained into it. I would absolutely adore to go back and be able to list all the Greek Gods (not that I know them, but Google can always help with that) and perhaps go to the olden temples. Or ooh! Have the daydreaming gift me with a gladiator fight. Le sigh, how I long to punch my younger self.

A book you really want to buy!

  • The Book of Life! There are some things I want to erase. And by things, I mean people. And by people, I mean... ewness. Yeah, that's basically all the answer I can give. Unless... *whispering* I can say every book. Mwuahahaha, I have found ze LOOP. (forgive me, my 3am self is acting up again)

I nominate...

Everyone that wants to do this! I know so many amazing bloggers and I don't want to seem like I'm forgetting any of them so yes! I nominate everyone.

Ask your nominees 5 questions of your choice, including 1 weird or funny question.

Now this is going to be mighty interesting. *evil cackling*

  1. Name three books that have made you cry, and I mean UGLY cry. Snot (ew, I know, but don't lie, it happens), and red eyes. Everything.

  2. What is the weirdest thing you have used as a bookmark?

  3. Have you ever wanted to physically assault a fictional character? And if so... who? I really want to know.

  4. How many times have you promised not to read past your bedtime, but oh no, it still happens? And if you HAVE read past your bedtime, name a book that made you read it all night long.

  5. I really want to know this one... really curious... what book was the first one that started the avalanche you have as a reader?

5 Bookish things I do that are probably not normal (booktasticallymazing.com)

I linked this one, for the sole reason that I was extra weird that day. And it shows. Tee hee.

This was such an amazing tag to write and again, thank you so much Brooke! I hope this made me seem more *adopts British accent* posh and I would really love to see your posts in the comments! Now, I shall take my leave because those donuts aren't going to eat themselves-
