My TBR Keeps Getting Out of Hand

Goeie, dear lovelies! I'm here because I'm in severe need of ventage (totes a word) about authors being rude enough to make good-looking/sounding books that have yet to be released and have already been added to my TBR. Thus, making it impossible for me to choose my next read without having to sacrifice my nonexistent child to get a sufficient amount of brain cells to complete such action.

Shall we travel to more Bookish Worlds? Yes, yes we shall. Broke, too.

So without further ado (because I sure do like talking a lot without saying much #Iwouldtotallysurvivethehungergames) let me try to explain why I added over 20 books by only mentioning at least 1/4 of them in this post.

Rating:

🍩~ Not likely, like, close to nothing.

🍩🍩~ A little more likely, still not the most definitive answer.

🍩🍩🍩~ Okay, now here, yeah. It is a definite chance it will happen.

🍩🍩🍩🍩~ If bad, it will definitely happen. A few doubts here and there, but I'm indecisive, so this is the best option.

🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩~ No questions. No doubts. Zero indecisiveness.

The Marriage by K.L Slater

There's a possibility I would read it in 10 years or so: 🍩🍩🍩/5

Will maybe impress me and not want to kill me via disappoint me: 🍩🍩🍩/5

It will die in my TBR without ever being read: 🍩🍩🍩/5

Look me in the internet eyes and tell me that doesn't sound like a future OHMYGOSHWHATWASTHAT twist in a book? I surely cannot expect to love every thriller book I encounter (though I still hope that every book does exactly that. Logic, where?) but I still need at least some of them to be somewhat decent, right? In the past, I've enjoyed reading books of this genre for the sole purpose of being able to rant against them. (I promise I'm not toxic) But now... *shrugs in 80 languages* I'm feeling a different way... Until, you know, another failure hits me over the head with a flat iron pipe and renders any hope of me loving mystery novels in a concussion state without any form of recovery viable for purchase.

Yeah.

That was me being melodramatic, once again.

UM... PLEASE TELL ME Y'ALL ARE SEEING WHAT I'M SEEING.

THE.

COVER.

That's it. No, of course, it can end like that! I wouldn't make my alter egos happy if I didn't fangirl at least a bit more about reading A FAIRYTALE GONE AWRY THAT IS RED RIDING HOOD IN A BASKET OF WOLF ENTRAILS. EXCUSE ME NO. I NEED TO READ THIS. *slowly gathers composure* I love fairy tales. I love red riding hood. I love wolves (from miles and miles and miles away). All three in a book? (it has happened before, but the previous ones have disappointed me. This is a new board we're going to play with) *sniffles excessively whilst yelling Cardan over and over again*

Sometimes I question my sanity.

(pfft)

Oh look! My own personal memoir... how nice. *sarcasm 100* My lips are pursed as I faintly remember a certain publishing company rejecting my request for reading this book. Very very faintly. So faintly, I can hear it ECHOING RIGHT THERE. *clears throat* I'm still going to read it. Not for you, company I shall not name because I'm still incredibly peeved, but for Jacks. My Jacks. The Jacks that will forever and shall always own this ish. That Jacks. I will read it for him. And for some mortal who shall never be worth his beauty.

You can ask me for a kiss anytime, just saying-

I wouldn't mind dying for you-

Again, just stare at the cover with me for a while. Breathe in the aroma of spices and the stench of bloody courts making everyone's life difficult but our own... feel the delicious cunning art of swirling leaves on a cup. And now,

SCREAM WITH ME BECAUSE WHY INS'T IT ALREADY IN OUR HANDS. Politely my loves. Scream politely. With elegance. And knives.

Lots and lots of knives.

Hear me out for a sec, I'll be completely honest. I didn't know this existed until I got punched in the nasal faculties with the cover art. I want to marry that cover. Weird but true. And then I read the synopsis and my heart went 'I'M GOING DOWN, I'M YELLING TIMBERRRRRRRRR'.

Needless to say, I'm so ready for this.

Are you?

*sigh with extra exclamation points* Are there ANY books y'all would like to add to the TBR (please don't add more, please don't add more, never mind, please add more. I want more booookkkkkssssssssss)? No? Are you sure? Like, completely sure? Okay... just asking...

😏 (reverse psychology is awesome)

Adios and stay sassy, dear deadlings!
