Aesthete Blogger Award

Zdravei! (holy crap, I actually remembered to say hello in another language, also, I don't know how to pronounce that word, so please let me know down below if you have any clue on how to do it! I'm currently saying it and elimination the Z in my head) I am so super glad that someone else nominated me! *Initiate overzealous screeching* An amazing blogger friend of mine over at The Fictional Journal (Ashmita, you're awesome!!) nominated me for this award, in which I'll be answering some questions and hopefully, answering them in an interesting manner.

Oh my gosh, I'm so sleepy. I need to jumpstart my systems.

And yes, I did just yell a little.

Now, unto the questions, shall we?

Tell me a something about this world that you admire.

Since I think this is referring to the wonderful Blogosphere (please correct me if I'm wrong) I'll list some of the many reasons why I deeply admire this society:

  • One of the most gratifying things out there, is to be able to be part of such a community filled with so much love for books and stories as a whole.

  • I'm pretty sure that all of us deeply care for the amazing hobby we all partake in. I've met so many people from various countries and I can say that I feel extremely proud to have learned things they have taught me.

What is your favorite form of creativity?

I would say that my favorite form of creativity is the spontaneous/emotional one. I deliberate too much about making things and ultimately the spark that created such a feeble idea diminishes with time. So when an idea comes, I have to grasp it as quickly as I can. Kind of like, an Epiphany. Just less smart, and wholly based on fangirly moments that will one day kill me. Hehe.

No really-

(And that answer is allll going on my thought process of the four forms of creativity. I'm still sleepy and had to google it. I hope it isn't wrong)

(And if it is wrong, I'll just craft a second answer *snort)

Answer #2: If it's referring to a physical form of creativity, I would say writing for sure. It really doesn't come easy most of the time, but I still hope to try! And by the way, I know for a fact that a lot of bloggers are amazing writers and that fills me with such an amount of joy, that it freaks me out sometimes.

Nominate 7 lovely people and notify them by commenting on their posts; spread some love!

Okay, okay, I've been gently stalking (very gently) fantastic blogs out there that have caught my eye and made me go, OH MY GOSH WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT. I STAN. Repeatedly and in varyuing degrees of Freakoutability. (somewhere out there, this is a word) So *clears throat* I shall dutifully nominate them with all the love that lives in this being:

Lilly’s Little Library (wordpress.com)

Rania’s Rambling Reads – Time to dive into the bookish world (wordpress.com)

Books, Reviews, and Procrastination – where I waste all my time doing books (wordpress.com)

Bonus: Navya!

Ask your nominees 4 questions.

  • I would love to know, what is your meaning of being a reader. Why do you read?

  • Have you ever thought of writing a book? And if so, how's it going so far?

  • Are you an artist? Do you draw, sing, dance...

  • What is one thing you live for and would sacrifice a thousand lifetimes to still have?

Answering Ashmita's questions!

What color is your soul?

Well, I would likely say black. But since I believe I'm not that evil, I would say... red. And not because of my heart. *snort* I have always liked that color, so unabashedly bright and pungent. It has always reminded me of strength and vigor. Also, the blood of my enemies.

Think about your happiest memory. Then tell me the book/song that you are reminded of?

Dang, looking back unto the whole (very short) life span of mine, I have had my fair share of happy memories which I hold close to my heart.

Hmmm, oh! When I held my first book series in my hands. It was a school book fair, and we were all told to choose one book, or a box set of books. And I being the extremely smart being that I am, picked 10 book sets and 4 books. Do y'all see the problem? So I was made to pick one of the book sets and I chose Ivy & Bean, and holy crap did that series change my world.

In memory of those books (which I still own and still binge read) I would say:

Pharrell Williams - Happy (Official Music Video) - YouTube for the song.

And for a book, well, those books! I get smarter with the das, I swear. #sarcasm

I have too many memories to unravel in the future and that one is one of the best, I would say.

Finish the sentence: once upon a time, there lived a turtle in…

a shoebox filled with the bones of deceased relatives, clinking softly against the walls of darkness.

Wait no, too morose, geez. Let me go happy:

Once upon a time, there lived a turtle in a resplendent castle of ivory bone- I need to stop.

Do you have an aesthetic?/What is your favorite aesthetic?

I would say, Dark Academia mixed with Light Academia and sprinkled with a fair amount of Grunge. Sometimes I like going all light, especially when my dark clothes are in the washer, or black/red/ dark yellow. It all depends on how ironic I'm feeling that day.

I would love to thank Ashmita again because seriously, this was extremely fun to write, and please link the posts of this award down below! I really want to see your answers for those questions.

Adios and stay sassy, dear deadlings!
